Support CFS

In his Quakers in Boston, George Selleck wrote of the beginnings of what was to become Cambridge Friends School.

In the spring of 1958 a group of young parents in the [Cambridge] Meeting felt moved by a concern to provide a Friends Day School where their children could receive their education in a Quaker atmosphere. After three years of planning, the school opened on September 23, 1961, with 60 students and seven faculty members in the rented basement of St. James Episcopal Church in Cambridge."

Today, Cambridge Friends School celebrates its 56th year of educating young minds in the Quaker Education tradition. Armed with a mission strongly rooted in social justice, CFS alumni graduate both academically prepared and personally confident to challenge injustice in the world. Supporting Cambridge Friends School allows our educators to continue to prepare the next generation to be leaders and champions of justice.

The Office of Institutional Advancement at Cambridge Friends School is committed to serving our diverse community. The Institutional Advancement team coordinates all fund raising programs at CFS, including the vital Annual Fund campaign, funds with specific goals, planned giving activities, and the establishment and stewardship of permanent endowment funds. The Advancement Office also supports CFS Alumni Association events, reunions, and parent lead activities. The Institutional Advancement team is happy to connect parent and alumni volunteers with events and activities that benefit the school.
