Project Week Vacation Program


The Project Week Vacation program is a week-long program hosted by Cambridge Friends School during the February and April vacation weeks. The program offers exciting and engaging courses taught by experienced teachers and specialists. Courses are designed to provide CFS Lower School students with opportunities for concentrated study in topics of special interest.

During Project Week, children have the opportunity to delve deeply into a subject matter, exploring content with the support of caring, experienced, passionate instructors. Courses revovle around a central theme and children visit three different classes over the course of the day.  An early morning drop-off option from 8:00–9:00 a.m. is also available.  Students in grades 6-8 may participate in a Student Apprentice (SA) Program. Participation in Project Week Vacation Program is at an additional cost to the day school tuition.

The Student Apprentice (SA) Program


The Project Week Student Apprentice Program of is designed for students in grades 6-8 who are interested in developing leadership and mentoring skills. Students work closely with teacher leaders and learn how to support younger students. Student Apprentices receive a small cash stipend. Participation in the Project Week SA Program is at an additional cost to the day school tuition.
