Cambridge Friends School is a Pre-K through Grade 8 independent school founded in 1961 by the Friends Meeting at Cambridge, Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). True to Quaker principles, students at CFS engage in thoughtful exploration of the world around them with a focus on learning skills that will create success throughout their lives.
Our students develop their intellectual and creative potential to become active and lifelong learners. CFS graduates are well prepared both academically and socially to take on the rigors of high school and beyond. Our graduates attend a wide variety of schools, including Commonwealth School, Cambridge School of Weston, Beaver Country Day School, Walnut Hill School for the Arts, Boston Latin School, Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, Arlington High School, and Belmont High School.
