Cambridge Friends School Tuition Policy

Tuition payments at Cambridge Friends School are made over twelve months in equal payments beginning in March each year.

Newly-accepted families make a non-refundable tuition deposit through Smart Tuition in April, which serves as your family's
initial monthly payment. The remaining tuition balance is billed monthly through February.

The balance of tuition and all other school fees are paid through Smart Tuition - Cambridge Friends School's ID number is #12635.

New families should enroll online at the Smart Tuition website to choose a tuition payment plan.

This is not a loan program; therefore, you are not incurring additional debt. There are no interest or finance charges assessed for payments made on time and there is no credit check. Smart Tuition charges an annual set-up fee of $45.00.

Payment Options

Smart Tuition offers two tuition payment alternatives for Cambridge Friends School families:

Twelve Monthly Payments - Payments to Smart Tuition starting in March* and end in February.

Annual Payment - payment IN FULL can be made to Smart Tuition
Families are eligible for an early payment discount of 1%, on the balance of your tuition if full payment is received in March, April, or May. The discount will be applied by Smart Tuition.  Please notify the Business Office if you plan to use this option.

*Monthly payment plans that begin after the March start date will have fewer months to budget for the final February payment.

Smart Tuition offers you the choice of being invoiced by Smart Tuition to pay your tuition balance by check, automatic bank account withdrawals, or by credit/debit card. Please note that for payments made via credit/debit card Smart Tuition will assess a 2.65% convenience fee. Smart Tuition accepts American Express, Discover, and Master Card.

Once enrolled, you will be able to access your Smart Tuition account in order to edit your profile, check your tuition and student billing balance, make payments, review account history, change your method of payment, and LIVE CHAT for assistance.

For tuition payment support please contact Smart Tuition at 888-868-8828, or Candice Jarden in the Cambridge Friends School Business Office at 617-354-3880 extension 125.
