The Cambridge Friends School Family Association (FA) is pleased to announce the speakers who will be presenting during the 50th anniversary year Seminar Series on March 1, April 13, and April 25, 2012. All seminars are open to the public, free of charge, and will be held in the CFS gymnasium, 7:00 p.m. Doors open for seating at 6:30 p.m.

 | CFS Remembers Educator Laraine Morin

It is with appreciation and respect that Cambridge Friends School remembers Laraine Morin, CFS Interim Head of School 2001 - 2003 and Director of Middle School 1996 - 2007, who died on Thursday, December 8. A gifted educator, Laraine cared deeply about children and the teachers who served them, as well as the parents who entrusted them to CFS to educate. Laraine joined the CFS faculty in 1988 as a grade 5/6 classroom teacher and took on a number of other roles in the school throughout her twenty years at CFS.

TIAA-CREF president of diversified financial services and Cambridge Friends School alumnus - Class of 1969 Eugene Flood will present Global Economics: issues Facing the World Today, on Thursday, March 1, 2012, at 7:00 p.m., in the Cambridge Friends School gymnasium.
